FAQs
How do I cancel or reschedule a class?
Cancellations must be made in writing (via WhatsApp or email) at least 24 hours before the lesson. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. For sick leave within 24 hours, a medical certificate and 1.5 hours' advance notice are required to avoid being charged.
How do I pay for classes?
You can pay by cash at the office, cheque, or via bank transfer/FPS. For bank/FPS payments, a receipt or screenshot is required to confirm the transaction. Payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date.
Can I get a refund if I miss group classes?
Group class fees are non-refundable. If you attend only part of the month, the school offers catch-up classes but does not issue refunds.
Can I join a course after it has already started?
Yes, you can join an ongoing course if there is space available and your level matches the group. We’ll help assess your level and recommend the best fit.
Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?
Yes, students who complete a full level (e.g. A1.1 or A1.2) and attend a minimum number of classes will receive a certificate of participation upon request.
What happens during bad weather or typhoon signals?
Lessons continue as usual during Amber/Red Rain or T3 signals. When Black Rain or T8 signals are hoisted, all classes will move online. In-person classes resume 2 hours after signals are cancelled.
What if the teacher is absent?
If a teacher is on sick or personal leave, the school will arrange a substitute teacher. Students will not be notified in advance for group classes.
What is the difference between group and private classes?
Group classes follow a fixed schedule and syllabus with other students at a similar level. Private classes are one-on-one and can be tailored to your learning pace, interests, or professional needs, with more flexibility in scheduling.
Are trial classes available before committing to a course?
We do not offer free trial classes, but you’re welcome to pay for a single lesson to see if the course is right for you before enrolling in the full package.
